Elliot resisted whatever urge he had to roll his eyes. He couldn't help that he didn't care! He was a guy after all and guys don't usually care what they do, so long as they're doing it and having fun. Case and point, when the H.I.V.E. Five caught Kid Flash and decided to go watch wrestling. Elliot didn't really like wrestling, but he'd watch just because it gave him something to do and he knew that watching Billy Numerous watching wrestling (or "wrastlin'" as he called it) would be hilarious.
After Elliot returned with the notebook and pencil, he had a feeling that it would get a good reaction from Angel. After all, girls didn't usually think that guys were all that sentimental, but when you only have one friend in the world and your a mute (sort of), you get a little sentimental. Or at least Elliot got sentimental. He's sure other people would shut people out, but Elliot had tried that with Angel, and well, it doesn't work. You can be like a clam all you want, but that doesn't mean she won't grab a hammer and a chisel and crack your sorry butt open so you'll talk to her. It's what had sort of happened to Elliot, anyway.
With a shake of his head, Elliot sighed silently when Angel did what Elliot figured she would and went all "awwwww" on him, like most girls would. Angel may have been a villain, but she was still a girl and last time Elliot checked, girls were emotional; all of 'em. They may try to have a hard exterior, but to be honest, they were all mushy saps.
Angel punched him on the shoulder and he shook his head slightly before seeing her smile. She then ticked off everything that she had wanted to do and decided to combine them all. Elliot nodded his head and wrote down his response to her questions.
Sounds good, but, how about we order pizza instead? I don't have any oven pizzas left. And what movie would you want to watch? Personally, I feel more Outsider-y today. It's an oldie, but a goodie.
Elliot showed her the notebook and then waited for her response.

It was probably a good thing that Angel didn’t know what her friend was thinking about girls and saps, otherwise she would’ve smashed him. As it was, she merely nodded. “I’ll have to do some grocery shopping tomorrow,” she said, speaking off-handedly, but by the smirk on her lips, and simply by factor of knowing her, it was quite obvious that the store wouldn’t be getting their money, oh no.
She wasn’t too keen on the idea of ordering pizza, mostly because it meant that someone would be coming to the apartment, and they’d have to pay them, in order to keep on the down low, but meh, if you wanted food… And besides, the movie would be good. It wasn’t her favorite, sure, but it was always hard to pinpoint a favorite with her. Besides, seeing as Elli was not being a doormat in something, why not go for it? “Oh, ‘Staying gold’, are we?” she quipped with a smile, standing. “Sure, sounds good to me.”
Stretching slightly, Angel put her hands on her hips. “Why don’t you get the movie ready, and I’ll go order the pizza.” It was phrased like a question, but came out a statement, with the unspoken part being that Elli couldn’t order the pizza, not without hurting himself. So it was left up to her.
Normally, had it been any other person, she would’ve strolled over to the doorway, and paused there, to ask their order, before proceeding. But she needed to be able to read her friend’s answer, so she waited, continuing. “So is pepperoni good, or do you want something different tonight?”
Pepperoni was the basic, the best, because even if you didn’t feel up to having the meat, you could just peel it off, give it to the other person, and be left with cheese. Of course, they also liked to try other things, too. Like that one time that Angel had gone on an all-Hawian-Pizza diet… Man, that had been good, and she had some people convinced that she was dumb enough to think it was a ‘diet’.
Obfuscating Stupidity. Never got old.

Elliot looked over at his friend when she said asked if he was 'staying gold' before she smiled and stood up saying that it sounded good to her. He glowered at her a moment before pouting slightly. It wasn't very nice to make fun of Elliot for liking The Outsiders. It was a classic after all! But then again, he supposed Angel had a point. Guys were supposed to like action/adventure, horror, sci-fi flicks. But, what could he say? Elliot was a man of simple tastes and those simple tastes involved The Outsiders and other classic movies, although he would watch some of the newer ones if he ever felt the need.
Elliot watched his friend as she stretched before her hands landed on her hips. He blinked a few times when she seemed to ask why didn't he go get the movie while she ordered the pizza.
At first, Elliot stared at her, then he raised an eyebrow at her curiously with a smirk before he nodded his head in response to her question and stood up. He walked away, rather quickly while he went to get the movie, not wanting her to take a swipe at him for the look he had given her. After all, it wasn't like he had smarted off...well...he had, but not verbally.
Quickly, Elliot returned with the movie, hoping that Angel wasn't still standing there to "lay the beat down on him." To be honest, he just couldn't help himself. After all, seeming to ask something that obvious couldn't not have the response that Elliot gave, right? Plus, it had been a while since the two had hung out so Elliot would lay blame to that...even if it was something that he couldn't have really helped.
After realizing that Angel had gone to order the pizza, Elliot made sure to put the DVD into the player and then plopped back down on the couch before turning on the TV. It was then that he blinked and realized that he needed to get some money scrounged up. Quickly, he began looking around the apartment. He grinned when he spotted a sack of cash in the back of his closet.
Of course! He thought gleefully as he grabbed some of it and returned to the living area. He plopped down and sighed gently before setting the money on the table. He then began to flip through the channels, waiting for Angel's return.

Alright, good, that was all settled. Content that they’d be going as quick as they could (because, really, she didn’t like to waste time unless it was for something in the category of not fun, which watching a movie with your best friend did not fall into), though she did roll her eyes at the other (sure it had been a bit of an obvious thing, but he totally could’ve taken that chance to just sit there and do nothing, which he had a few times, lazy bum ignoring the fact that she did it too), she made her way to the kitchen, and picked up the phone. It took a second for her to recall the number, but since she only ever called the one, awesome pizza place here, and not any of the annoying chain ones, it wasn’t like it was that hard to remember. It had just been a bit.
Quickly punching in the number, she waited as the dial tone went on, before a fake-happy voice picked up with a “This is Slice of Life, how may I help you?” Ugh, it was times when she heard people being all… fake (ironically, considering the things she sometimes pulled), that she was happy with her ‘career choice’. Much better than being one of the ‘slaves to the system’.
“Hey, I’d like to order one medium pepperoni pizza, please…?” And then it was business, and the other apparently managed to move past her fake happiness, much to Angel’s relief. It just sounded painful, ya know? An exchange of the cost, the address, and BOOM! Pizza was on its way. Such a tedious thing, and Angel really didn’t enjoy it super much (though she did take secret delight in wondering what the other person’s reactions would be if they knew they were speaking to a villain), but hey, the pizza was worth it. Totally. But now it was disguise time.
Going with the not of buckling her wings down again, because it was annoying, she hated it, and it wasn’t like she was going to go out in public, just answer the door and stuff, Angel bebopped down to Elli’s room, snatching a pair of his sunglasses (red eyes were exactly normal, either) and pulled one of his jackets out of his closet, for her to slip on when the delivery guy got here, before she flounced back to the living room, jacket over her arm and glasses swinging from her hand, eyes immediately zooming in on the money. It was a thief’s nature, after all.
“Pizza’s on its way,” she reported, stepping over and flipping through the money, before pulling out an appropriate amount and dropped the rest on the table. Stepping over, she realized he was just flipping through the channels, but he probably had the movie ready. Hopefully. Otherwise she’d beat him. But either way, she plopped down on the couch, fine with it all. Slice of Life was pretty quick with their delivery, so it shouldn’t take too long…

Elliot watched his friend out of the corner of his eyes after she stepped out of the kitchen where the phone was. She stepped into his room, confusing him slightly but he just shrugged his shoulders and placed his eyes back on the TV. There was nothing on at all, which was really just awful. Despite how it was a Friday night there should still be something on TV. After all, not everyone went out Friday nights to party or anything. Most people stayed in and enjoyed their break and their upcoming weekend from no longer having to work... Or at least that's what Elliot's parents did...
After a moment, Angel stepped out of his room with one of his jackets and his sunglasses. He raised an eyebrow at her a moment before he watched her eyes dart towards the money. A gentle chuckle escaped his lips as she walked over and picked up the wad of cash. She flipped through it, counting the money that she needed before pulling it out and plopping the stack back on the table. Elliot eyed it for a moment before he shrugged his shoulders and looked back at the TV in front of him, still flipping through channels.
Elliot nodded when Angel's words had finally registered with him before she plopped down on the couch beside him. He made a face of disgust, allowing her to know that there was nothing on. Not to mention, the people who were briefly on the TV weren't exactly in the best of places. If Elliot recalled, he believed it was the TV show Hoarders which was just awful and disgusting in the first place.
Sure, Elliot was a guy, which meant that sometimes things weren't as clean as they should have been but that didn't mean that he enjoyed having piles and piles of crap in his house with potential animal infestation or dead and decaying things which had been trapped in his living space and died there. No thank you. Elliot may like things messy, but he didn't like things dying...nor did he very much care for the smell of decaying animals... That was disgusting.
After a moment, Elliot gazed over at Angel before he held up the movie case, asking her if she wanted to start the movie without the pizza. It was up to her, really. It didn't matter too much to Elliot, after all, he would pretty much be okay with anything she decided...as per usual, of course. [OOC: Sorry it's so short. ]
