THE GOOD STUFF;;
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
(TTWikia )http://teentitans.wikia.com/wiki/Robin
Robin is always shown in just his costume that is consisted of green tights with black steel-toed boots, a green short-sleeved shirt underneath a red armored vest with a yellow "R" over his left pectoral muscle, a yellow utility belt and a black cape that has a yellow interior. He always has on a black and white domino mask, has his black hair spiked backwards, average-toned skin and an athletic-build.
When he is briefly shown as Slade's apprentice, he wears a black bodysuit with armor plating on the legs, knees, forearms, shoulders, the top-half of his suit is split into black and orange sides and an ash-gray utility belt.
PERSONALITY: Due to being under Bruce Wayne's tutleage for years, Robin is generally a serious goal oriented character. While he does have his moments of hanging out with the other titans, playing games with Cyborg and doing typical teen things. (Like falling in love with a certain Starfire, for example.) most of his time is spent meticulously planning for the next mission, developing game plans, and training his body through various excersizes to push his body to the limit on top of capturing foes by himself. When a particular Slade comes into the picture the Boy Wonder's obessiveness with capturing and eliminating Slade skyrockets ten-fold, which means he focuses on nothing but the mission at hand, often ignoring everything and everyone else. His demeanor easily conflicts with Beast Boys casual laid back comic relief attitude resulting in a multitude of arguments. When it comes to Slade, his emotion wavers on the balance and one wrong move will easily tip him over the edge, frustration will crease his features he'll find himself dropping the help of the others to take on Slade, or any other nemesis for that matter.
Despite his focus on getting the job done, Robin cares a great about his friends and will go through great lengths to save them or rescue them from whatever bondage they're in; for example the Boy Wonder has absorbed a great deal of nanites in an effective, albeit risky maneuver to turn the tables against Slade and stop him from torturing the other Titans with said nanites.
POWERS AND/OR ABILITIES: While Robin lacks superhuman powers he makes up for in strength and raw brainpower. His training allows him to deftly move on his feet and deliver the pain through a series of Martial Arts that he has mastered and is constantly improving upon. His intellect grants him the ability to develop his own line of gadgets, varying from the every popular Birdarang, Bo staff, energy mines to lock-picks, smoke screen producing grenades, to name a few.
WEAKNESSES: 1. Lacks Superpower, which means Robin has to work harder to level the playing field with his foes.
2. As stated before, when certain villains are able to get under his skin, Robin tends to get obsessive with taking that person down, and his skills sometimes take a turn for the worse, allowing enemies to easily pick up on and capitalize on his openings.
3. He sometimes opts to go after villains like Slade alone instead of allowing the backup from the other Titans, which likely puts Robin in an disadvantageous position.
GOALS:
1. Slade. Slade. Slade. Beating him, capturing him, besting him and his incredible intelligence, solving the mysteries surrounding the guy. You name it.
2. Capturing villains and locking them up behind bars
3. Making sure that Jump City is devoid of criminals.
HISTORY: (TT Wikia) teentitans.wikia.com/wiki/Robin
Robin was born as Richard John "Dick" Grayson to John and Mary Grayson. As a child his parents and him were a family of circus acrobats known as The Flying Graysons. While he was once preparing for a performance he overheard two gangsters who worked for a powerful crime boss named Tony Zucco attempt to extort protection money from the circus owner. The circus owner refused and the two gangsters sabotaged the trapeze wires with acid. At the next performance the trapeze his parents were swinging from ropes. The ropes snapped and sent them to their deaths.
Before he could go to the police, Batman appears to him and warned him that the two gangsters worked for Tony Zucco, a very powerful crime boss, and that revealing his knowledge could lead to his death. He was adopted by Bruce Wayne after his parents were killed by Zucco and became Robin. Together Batman (Bruce) and him disrupted Zucco’s extortion rackets and gambling rackets and then successfully baited the riled Zucco into visiting a construction sight where they captured him. Through the years of working with the Dark Knight as his sidekick to fight crime in Gotham he was greatly trained mentally and physically that in ways no other child was. For reasons undisclosed in the show, but the actual reason being Robin thought he was being treated like a kid and was about to give up being a hero, calling it “ Kid Stuff” with Batman. Robin eventually left Batman and moved to another city (though it is known to still be close to Gotham) to continue fighting crime, though this time he intended to go solo.
In episode Go!, Robin met up with Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven when Starfire came to Earth and started destroying the city. After a brief yet fierce confrontation where even the Boy Wonder appeared to meet his match, Robin helped Starfire get free from her chains, who then kissed Robin to learn English and flew away. Robin and the others teamed up to find her, and later fought the aliens who came to find and imprison Starfire, shortly after defeating them, Robin gave the others communicators, and later created the Teen Titans and became the leader.
THE NITTY-GRITTY;;
SCREENNAME: Roze
Time spent roleplaying: Four years, on and off.
Other Characters: N/A
RP Sample: Fingers worked on a keyboard tirelessly throughout the night as a spiky haired teen stared into a bright monitor that easily illuminated one of the four corners that belonged to his room, the rest submitting to darkness. Strewn about were copious amounts of newspapers taped to darkened walls depicting the defeat/capture of different foes, and even some artifacts belonging to said evildoers. While Robin was pleased with wiping these villains off the streets there was never an end to them. As long as there was good, there would always be evil lurking about, ready to cause trouble and harm innocents for whatever sick reason. And then there were those in-between. Those like Red X. Brows furrowed underneath his masquerading mask at the very thought of the enigmatic male. The guy helped on various occasions, fought against the Titans, and has always successfully eluded capture at the same time, making each and every one of his appearances questionable at best.
A low-key beep resounded around the Boy Wonder's perimeter, eyes widening underneath that mask. Placing one hand on the computer mouse he quickly glided a corresponding white arrow across the bright screen to hover over a icon resembling that of a white envelope. A single gloved ring finger clicked the mouse to bring up a large window that plastered itself across the entire monitor. Eyes stalked the very first email at the top of his inbox, already declaring the vile thing as a type of spam that would be immediately removed from his immaculate and well kept mailbox. Besides, who would send emails at this time of night?
Robin couldn't have been more wrong.
Curiosity killed the cat but that didn't stop Robin from clicking the mail that was in front of him, his face involuntarily inching closer and closer to the screen. Slowly, he read the writing that was before him, writing that was written in a notably large font. The change was subtle at first, mask straightening and becoming as rigid as two arrows that threatened the innocent monitor. Then everything else fell suit.
His grip on the mouse tightened by an extreme amount, almost crushing the thing under his vice grip. A growl somehow managed to escape lips that were pursed together and wasting no time Grayson stood up on his feet, grabbed his specially designed utility belt and laced it around his waist. Reaching over to an adjacent table Robin grabbed his communicator for emergency purposes and departed from his room. He took off into a blinding run with no regard to those Titans that were sleeping during this time of day, bounding through the large living room that glowed with the moonlight that peaked through the large window, before heading out the door. X was back, beckoning him and him only to rendezvous at a strange location that Robin knew little about. Whatever the case, the Boy Wonder was determined to bring in the cryptic guy behind his own suit, a suit that should have never existed in the first place. This was his mission, his suit, his battle, his capture.
