ALIASES: Call him Joe or Joey out of uniform, and Jer or even Jerry is alright otherwise.
AFFILIATION: Honorary Titan
STATUS: Just became an Honorary and he's trying to figure out what on earth he's doing.

THE GOOD STUFF;;
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Wide green eyes, curly blonde hair, sort of tall and thin. On the street preferred clothes are jeans, a shirt with a high collar and comfortable shoes. On the job, Purple boots, black pants, white shirt, purple tunic, etc. Will often be carrying guitar and (in pocket) a notepad and pencil.
PERSONALITY: Shy around new people, because of his inability to 'normally' communicate. Always tries to be nice, do the right thing, etc. Lover, not a fighter- but will fight for what he loves. Always tries to at least act like he's happy. He's protective of the innocent/defenseless, much like an older brother. Not easily mad, but there are times when he gets upset. At that point he often 'shuts up' and will keep it to himself.
POWERS AND/OR ABILITIES: His powers are possession of other humanoids through eye contact. He can control their actions as long as he's in there, but not always their voice. He can only control THAT when the target’s unconscious. What he does is he makes eye contact with them, and the whites of his eyes turn black. He shifts into an astral- type form (so that he’s “see-through”) and phases into the body of the target. The target’s eyes then turn green, like his, and he’s in. He can dig down into their minds to view their memories, and he can also read their current thoughts. He can't stay in one body for too long, it's bad for his mental stability. Each person he possesses leaves a trace of themselves on his psyche, so of course going into the minds of so many disturbed individuals takes its toll if he’s not too careful. Those are his powers in a nutshell.
WEAKNESSES: He can't speak, so he either has to sign or write or there's no way for him to communicate. He isn't all that afraid of TOO much- but knives make him freeze. He also dislikes other weapons but isn't afraid. He’s a bit of a pacifist, despite more-than-moderate fighting skills, so he hesitates to fight. Besides that- his dad. He hates to keep a secret, but...
GOALS: : Peace. He's a hero because he has powers and wants to be able to use them to help people. That, and love.
HISTORY: (Here we go...) His parents were Slade and Adeline Wilson. He was the second-born, and came AFTER his father underwent military experiments. This is what led him to gain superhuman abilities, like his father has. When he was around six or so, and his dad and brother (assumedly) weren't around, a team of men working for a man named Jackal came to their home and kidnapped him for ransom.
Slade, as Deathstroke, had killed a foreign ambassador, and Jackal wanted to know who hired Slade to do so. Slade refused to give them information- betting on his superhuman speed and strength to save his son. He almost did. The killer holding little Joey STARTED to cut his throat, severing his vocal cords and rendering him permanently mute. This led to Adeline shooting out her husband’s eye, etc. etc.
Living with just his mom the remainder of his youth, Joseph grew up to be a fine young man. (True Story) He helped her work with an agency called Searchers inc., working on his fighting skills and his powers. He left home, possibly to find a way to help more. He met up with the Titans and tah-dah! Became one of them. Of course in the comics he went all kinds of crazy and became a criminal mastermind, and died about three times, but that's beside the point!

SCREENNAME: Call him Jericho, Joseph, etc. You can call me Phoenix.
Time spent roleplaying: Almost three months now, on DA. I've been doing Jericho that long, and just added "Addie" and "Joseph" (comic version) to my list a few weeks ago, but they're from the comics and don't get as much love. I take cartoon!Joseph and comic!Joseph as SLIGHTLY different characters, seeing as cartoon!Joseph is younger, and probably not as sexual (yet). Also, in the cartoon, he has a secret to keep.
Other Characters: : Like I said, on DA I also have an Addie and another Joseph (comic version). I don't use them as much, but ya know. I have confidence in doing plenty of characters, though- just not the time to do so.
RP Sample:
Ah, hi there- I'm Jericho ^^; So um, I guess I'll just talk about myself or something like that. There's not a whole lot to say, the most 'remarkable' thing about myself is the fact that I can't speak. But it's alright, I talk in other ways. I sign- but most people don't understand that, so I just have to pull out a notepad and pencil to write what I want to say. I also turn to art to express myself. I know, that sounds sort of 70s, but oh well.
Like I was saying, I use art as my voice, in a way. Even before I lost my voice I liked to play music- and I was pretty good at it, for a kid. After that, I was just... mad, I guess. Well mostly frustrated, having to learn an almost-new language. Playing my guitar helped me calm down a lot. Soon it grew into painting and drawing and stuff like that. I'm not so sure how I got to be talking to you about this- but that's alright.
Right now I'm happy to have been asked to be a part of the Titans- even if it is a little overwhelming. I just hope it can last....

I see that most go for a "novel-like" third-person perspective, but obviously I do first-person. It's just what I'm used to from DA. I'll try to match up with everything else to make it less awkward. I think I covered everything, so- thank you!))
