Deathstroke paced back and forth around the abandoned warehouse by the docks. It was late, about 11:30 pm standard time. At this time Slade's robots were breaking into a Wayne facility stealing an A.I. chip. If both criminals enacted their plans at the same time it would be obvious that they were not related in any way at all. Slade was waiting for the cops to show. He had kidnapped and beat the ambassadors of five foreign countries to a pulp and threatened to do even more unless he got his money. He had demanded a sum total of 42 million dollars for them to be returned.
Of course some teenage caped nuisance would likely try to stop him. He was counting on it in fact. He made it public on worldwide television as soon as the Teen Titans left to stop him as Slade way down at the Business district. He had threatened to decapitate the hostages so chances were someone would try to stop him. He did want the money and to take out as many snot nosed whelps as he could but his main goal was to create an alibi. That was the most important part, that and looking as competent as Slade, the Brain, and Brother Blood while being more brutal.
He had his disguised robots with him. They were different in design than Slade's. They're hardware and software completely different but did the same things. This was important because if they were taken back to be analyzed they would not resemble Slade's handiwork. He also added high end prosthetic instead of steel masks to make them look human. All faces and body types differed because they were randomized upon creation. He also added a synthetic hearbeat and fake blood and organs to make the heroes think twice about destroying them. After all most did not kill those they though of as organic. Deathstroke also had some of his cronies he had hired along with him just in case the usual forces were not enough. Besides,living people actually had incentive to survive and gain the prizes that were offered.
