STATUS: Slade has seemingly disappeared after he was last seen by Beast Boy during their fight over Terra. However, Slade has simply gone to into hiding and established an alter ego, Deathstroke. As Deathstroke he released all the villains captured by the Titans and hires some of them to commit crimes. Not even those who he hires know his real identity. He hopes to divide the Titans attention between Slade and Deathstroke in order to weaken them. This will leave their forces divided and easier to conquer.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Slade is about six feet tall and is has the body of an Olympian athlete but with a little more muscle. His Deathstroke costume differs from his normal look now going with an orange and blue design instead of an orange and black. His mask has been altered to make it look like he has two eyes instead of only one. He has tons of ammo all over his body for quick access and has a utility belt as well for gadgets. His gauntlets and boots have three bladed edges which can be used to capture a weapon in between the spaces and snap them in half. He always has a gun on him at all times as well as carries a huge sword.
Out of costume, Slade has white hair and a mustache and goatee. Slade also only has one eye and wears an eye patch at all times. His eye is blue and he has a few scars throughout his body from his days as a mercenary and his worn tired face makes him look older than he really is. Though he looks older than he truly is he is still a distinguished and handsome man. When he smiles it is both charming and sinister which works in having people fear while respecting him at the same time.
Slade’s usual costume consists of a mask with one eye, half orange and half black and has vertical slits where the mouth would be. His outfit is a bulletproof, tear resistant, and fire resistant material and colored black. Certain parts of his body such as his neck and stomach are protected with lightweight but powerful alloy that protects most of his vital spots. His shoulder pad, gauntlets, boots, elbow pads, and knee pads are made of the same metal. Slade also wears a utility belt.
PERSONALITY: As Deathstroke, he acts differently than he would as Slade. As Deathstroke he is more prone to rash actions and is more public in his activities. He will trash talk and boast in an arrogant manner and will growl or snarl during battle. He takes no nonsense and always cuts to the chase. This differs from Slade’s tendency to speak calmly and beat around the bush. Deathstroke always acts competitive when in battle. This is all an act however and shows evidence in Slade’s talent for lies.
As Slade, he is dark and enigmatic and only releases as much information as he needs to bait his targets. He hardly ever changes his cold unfeeling tone and is cocky in a sophisticated manner. He is proud and does not tolerate failure. Slade no longer is preoccupied with finding an apprentice to follow in his footsteps. He is smart enough to know not to try this for a third time. Despite this, he still has a longing to leave a legacy of crime.
Slade is after world domination and nothing less. However unlike the common mad scientist or super powered villain he actually does have leadership skills. He can plan, teach, and lead effortlessly. However the only way he knows how to lead is through pain and fear. He knows he’s evil but he doesn’t care one bit. It’s survival of the fittest and because he’s best at surviving he deserves the spoils. He is a sadist both in the Slade guise and the Deathstroke guise and is a born manipulator. He also has a highly advanced scientific mind which allows him to create his own army of robots.
POWERS AND/OR ABILITIES: Slade’s physique and intelligence is at the highest of human condition. He is master of all forms of weaponry and martial arts to the point where he would even rival Batman. He has an assorted array of vehicles and gadgets and also has an army of robots. Another asset to Slade is how rich and resourceful he is. It is unknown just how much money Slade as accumulated over the years but it is apparently enough to finance all the devices mentioned.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Slade has no super powers to speak of so he must rely on his tactic more than his strength against enemies with super speed or strength. (Ex: He cannot out wrestle Cyborg or keep up with Kid Flash)
2. His pride has been his downfall many times. In Fact it got him killed once because he thought that he could control Terra when it was obvious his hold on her was breaking. Often he isn’t defeated by the Titans physically; he is beaten in a way that manipulates his hubris.
3. Slade isn’t exactly good with kids. Quite the understatement actually. He tends to underestimate them and what they can accomplish. This was also the reason why he died at one point and it still seems that he a lot to learn.
4. Fighting and toying with Robin is a guilty pleasure of his and will do anything to under his skin. This obsession with the Boy Wonder may arguably at times work against him.
5. Slade only has one eye. This means he needs to be careful that someone doesn’t go towards his blinds spot or he may not be able to react in time. He also has a slight lack of depth perception.

HISTORY:

His actions became increasingly more hostile but still managed to follow the rules of combat. At this point he had lost his eye in battle. After achieving the rank of Major, Slade became a test subject for an experiment designed to increase his strength and intellect to the highest of human condition. The test worked, but with tragic consequences. Slade became violent and sociopathic meaning that he cared for no pretty much no one’s feelings but his own. He grew drunk on the new strength and desired to make everything his own. After returning to America Slade took on high profile mercenary jobs before getting enough money to start a criminal empire.
Slade became a threat to the world and started his plans to conquer the world by starting with Jump City. After making his presence known to the Teen Titans Slade did his best to separate their leader, Robin from the rest of the team. He planted killer probes in the systems of Robin’s friends and forced Robin to become his apprentice to keep them safe. He was eventually defeated however and had disappeared for some time. Slade figured that the reason he failed to gain a loyal apprentice was because Robin was too stable and his loyalties were ingrained in Batman and the Titans. And so, as a way of getting a person to easily manipulate and to get revenge on the Titans, he convinced Terra to become his apprentice. However this plan backfired when the rage and confusion of the girl ended up seemingly killing Terra and himself. Slade was as dead as he could be but this wasn’t over not by a long shot.
While in the depths of hell Slade gained the favor of the demonic Trigon, the father of Raven. Slade bargained and became the servant of Trigon and even gained the ability to control fire and be invincible. He was assigned to activate the beginning of the end of the world by activating Raven’s link to her father on her birthday. However Slade turned against Trigon when he felt that he wouldn’t fill his end of the bargain and helped the titans defeat him. He lost all the powers given to him but at least he was alive again. During the Teen Titans battle with the Brotherhood of Evil, Slade stayed away from the battle in order to regain his resources. He appeared to Beast Boy only when both gained the knowledge of Terra’s seemingly miraculous survival. He taunted Beast Boy but did not actually try to get back at Terra for killing him. He left without a word to her.
During the Titans’ escapades in Tokyo, Slade went into hiding and disguised himself as Deathstroke. As Deathstroke he freed the majority of the criminals that were arrested and began hiring them for odd jobs. However, Slade did not free Madame Rouge, Mallah, or the Brain feeling that if they were there they would fight over control. As both Slade and Deathstroke he is now causing great trouble for Titans all over the world. At last Deathstroke will have his revenge. Just as long as the kids don’t get wise.

It was a warm summer night when Deathstroke had broken into Jump City’s maximum security prison. Hacking the security computer defenses was easy. Now Deathstroke had to take out the guards. It would be no problem, he was Slade after all. He was a genius, a god in the warzone he could make any battlefield his own. He pressed a button on his remote and placed it in his utility belt. His robots dressed as ninjas and mercenaries stormed the place at all sides. They placed bombs on the walls and detonated them. The collapsing wall didn’t block or take out anything important, Slade knew the layout of the prison before acting. He had destroyed the wall that contained the yard and the falling debris actually broke open some corridors letting some prisoners escape.
Hundreds of staff had already been taken out from the explosions alone. The bots added insult to injury. No one was to be spared other than the criminals; the impact had to be at its most devastating point to incite the maximum interest of the Titans. As his troops tore through them with blades and bullets, Deathstroke calmly walked through the main gate and pulled out his sword. It felt good handling a blade again. He hadn’t used the old girl in years and she was hungry for meat.
The main guards were like tissue paper, in how they tore but bursted from the inside like they were full of jelly. He saved and fought alongside a few convicts who were fighting the guards all the while telling them who he was. “I am Deathstroke the Terminator! Remember the name. Breathe it in and choke on it!” he said as a news helicopter had arrived on the scene to catch the action. He pulled the grenade launcher off his back and fired. The news crew stood no chance. The whole event was being shot live.
Just as Slade was thinking how great it was taking an active part in his missions he was slammed into the wall by a sentry bot. It was something the city had paid Lexcorp to create to defend their local prisons due to the high criminal activity the town was a part of. It was a close call to be honest, the drone’s arm grabbed him a little lower, and his ribs would have been crushed. As he struggled, he managed to pry open a pouch on his belt and planted a small flashing light on the torso of the machine. When the detonator exploded, the grasp on the arm loosened and Slade broke free. More of them kept coming, more than he had estimated.
Something truly remarkable happened then. Not only were his robots managing to take out the sentries but some of the convicts had actually stayed to fight alongside Deathstroke. Once Slade had managed to make a big enough impact he had planned to leave. But now that people were sticking close to their liberator Slade went even further on the offensive. By the time midnight had arrived Deathstroke and the criminals were long gone. He alone had inspired thousands and had leveled one of the highest security prisons in the world. All this happened in less than thirty minutes. Deathsroke thought to himself, “Your turn Robin. Let’s just see what your little team can do against Deathstroke and Slade.” He smiled under his mask.
