The sun shined in the afternoon sky, children played in the playground, jumping around the monkey bar, sliding down the slides, swinging on the swing. They giggled and laughed, enjoying their fun, on a nice day- such as this, joggers ran in the park, wearing bright colors so the sun wouldn’t be as attracted to them as the darker colors could be. Mother’s kept a watchful eye on their children, in this city where villians could be at any corner, they had too- thankfully for them, they had their own guardian angels; the teen titans.
However, a purple haired fool knew nothing about the Titans, or what they stood for, this fool would make it appear as if she didn’t know right from wrong, what was considered morally acceptable and a taboo. Pale arms slowly appeared on top of the monkey bars of the park-dismembered..that was, a child would see and scream, causing alarm to the entire park, mother’s in a stampede grabbed their children, who would cry from being startled, joggers would watch though, as the Mother’s ran dragging their children away from the park. They watched as the arms slowly faded into shoulders, and shoulder’s faded into a body, it took only a few moments before the woman slowly stood before them-er..stood on her hands. She stared at them and turning her body in an odd angle, so her feet were off the monkey bars, she pushed up and landed- well on nothing. She tilted long purple locks of hair, as it cascaded against her face, a grin ear to ear plastered over her face..at least..it would be ear to ear, if her ears wasn’t a pair of purple cat ears, that twitched at the people, all of their movements.
She stared down to them, this had been the first time she had seen a crowd, well in person. She tilted her head again, jingle her two bells neatly placed over her neck hit against each other. Something shiny, her eyes narrowed onto a golden chain around a man’s neck. She wondered how much it would cost pawned off, maybe enough for a nice meal. She paused- she had been hungry. Within a blink in the eye the girl grabbed the chain roughly off the man’s neck, and pushed him. She looked up and he seemed to stare back, she saw an interesting look in his eyes, her grin didn’t falter, and the man ran off as she appeared back on the monkey bars, inspecting her new piece of jewelry. She realized what that look in his eyes was.Fear
Her ears twitched and she looked up to see the crowd still there. She grinned, ”This one’s name is Khit.” she spoke and maybe out of no reason, they all ran off, maybe to consol their friend, Khit didn’t care, all she noticed now was the park was empty. Had she said something wrong? Maybe introducing herself before they did was rude. Hmm, her mind quickly changed thoughts as she looked around. She hoped the city wasn’t as lonely as this place.

Having fully recuperated from her crash landing on this planet, Ildon had decided that her first order of business was to scout out Jump and familiarize herself with it; after all, she would be spending an inordinate amount of time here (if not all of it), so it was only logical that she take steps to learn about her surroundings.
She'd briefly entertained the notion of going out in disguise as a civilian, but reasoned against it fairly quickly. The point of this excursion was to scope out the layout of the city, and she could cover far more ground when she didn't have to pretend she was one of the unremarkable human beings without powers.
Clad in her black jumpsuit and ubiquitous helmet, her figure was seldom found at rest as she traversed the rooftops, easily making leaps of any size in order to continue along her path. Though she wasn't watching the streets - and in fact technically couldn't, even if she wanted to - her helmet's equipment kept her informed about the goings-on below her.
She halted on the edge of one building, tentative as her helmet picked up a sizable group of civilians fleeing from something on the ground. She couldn't see anything in the immediate vicinity, and her equipment wasn't fine-tuned for vast distances, but she gathered that they were egressing from something in the park.
Tumbling from the rooftop and landing slightly hunched on both feet, she ignored the tiny divots she'd made in the concrete as she soldiered onward in her usual bull-rushing fashion. She wasn't incredibly fast, but she also wasn't slow by any interpretation of the word.
She slowed down upon approaching the outskirts of the park, advancing carefully in case this was indeed a hostile situation. After getting close enough to regard the probable cause of the panic, her posture straightened as she ran possible scenarios through her mind. First impressions aside, this person didn't seem to be very intimidating or hostile. Sunlight glinted off the side of her helmet; it's hard for a helmet to be expressive, but the segmented white 'eyes' on the front of it did appear to be somehow questioning. Her affected monotone issued out, the words slightly muffled as they worked their way around the black helmet.
"Explain yourself. And the situation."
As far as greetings go it was fairly brusque, but Ildon was never really known for her geniality.

It would seem her loneliness had been short lived, extremely short lived, The golden eyes flickered back and forth. R.i.p Loneliness. Her grin did not falter as the woman came to her, by the figure at least.. that’s what Khit assumed. She tilted her head, or a seriously androgenous man. She snickered at the though, even though she had been fairly sure that it was female. Her eyes ran up and down on the woman, looking her over- a pool of curiosity filling the ember-colored orbs, her purple hair tilted with her head, as Khit lay sprawled across the the jungly gym, on her back. She pushed her self off of the jungle gym.
Khit let herself fall head first to the ground, something that could seriously give anyone a concussion, but only an inch above the ground, Khit’s head disappeared, it was like a plague that spread across her bodice, and for a few moments Khit would be gone, until... a flash of purple appeared in front of the lady dressed in black, golden eyes staring to her. Really Khit had been sizing the woman up, in case she would have gotten into a fight- which she wasn’t really looking for- she was an entertainer not a fighter.
”This one hasn’t a clue.” she spoke as she sat down on an invisible chair, her leg’s crossed, indian style as she stared to the woman, her ears twitching as she scratched them. The woman looked like she was in mourning- wearing all those dark clothes, either that or she was one of those people who dressed in black.. what were they called again? She paused bit on her lower lip, gath kids? She snickered and took her attention back to the woman.
”Robot lady.” she blinked pointing to the woman, of course she didn’t care if that was her name or not. ”Why are you here? she purred as she dangled the golden chain in front of her own face, her eyes sparkling at how golden it was, she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she found it really hard to pay attention to the woman, with something as shiny as this golden chain in front of her eyes. The look in her eyes were the ones a cat would give to a mouse, whilst in the middle of a cruel game. This was all this city was for Khit, a game- and she held all the rules, and she could change them at will.
Khit wasn't a straight forward kinda of creature girl.

Whatever response Ildon expected, it certainly wasn't a snicker before witnessing the unnamed female fling herself off of one of the park's metal structures and procedurally disappearing into what would have been thin air, had they been located far enough above sea level to warrant the scientific distinction. At least, that was how she understood the human's naming methods for how oxygenated their environment was. Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly out of reflex, a small scowl coloring her face behind the helmet that she treated as a second skin. Great. A teleporter. Always so much fun to deal with.
She was surprised (albeit not pleasantly), then, when the girl reappeared in front of her, Ildon's body immediately tensing up in response to the unexpected move. Her clenched fists were the only things that betrayed her apprehension, and those eventually loosened up a bit when it was evident that the other wasn't going to outright attack her. Her arms did remain slightly elevated from her sides, however, in prime position to react to any hostile movements.
While she hadn't exactly expected an informative response to her demanding inquiry, the one she got was mildly infuriating to say the least; an answer that was effectively a non-answer. To put it to a human phrase, this person was bandying about the bush, as it were, whether they were entirely aware of their actions or not. The gall of pantomiming sitting in an invisible chair, then distracting herself with a shiny trinket, was not all lost on Ildon. Once again, she found herself ruminating on their power; in her experience certain abilities lent themselves to certain personality traits, and all of the teleporters that she'd met in the past had either been manic in personality or completely egocentric; the latter perhaps born out of the idea that they simply couldn't be touched. Annoying as all this was, Ildon still managed to keep herself at a reliably calm level - the comment about her being washed over her with little effect, as it was a naive assumption that she'd received many times over in her short stay on Earth.
"I am not a technological being, and that is not my name. You may refer to me by either my given name, Ildon Anozon, or my title, Herald of Fate. It does not matter which. I am here because I observed citizens fleeing in panic from this site, and I came to determine the cause of the matter. Human 'common sense' dictates that you probably had a hand in it."
Part of her wondered whether the other was even paying attention to her, as enamored as she seemed to be by the pendulous trinket, but she decided to seek a continuation to the 'discussion', if one could really call it that. As prone as she was to solving problems with her fists rather than words, she was aware that it never hurt to try diplomacy fist.
"Does 'this one' have a name I may refer to? And that accessory-" Here she paused briefly, indicating the chain necklace with an outstretched hand. "Is that yours, or have you stolen it from someone?" Ildon was vaguely aware that her second question would be considered extremely rude in certain social situations, but was also fairly certain that this didn't count as one of the aforementioned situations.

Even though the girl's golden orbs, lay on the trinket, almost mirroring it her wide eyes. Khit's ears twitched at the woman’s words, flicking back against her head as the woman corrected her, only to quickly flick back up to her words. The girl's hands rose up, the gold dropping out of her hands, and quickly the girl's hand slammed down on the ‘chair’ and she pushed herself up, forming into a handstand as she pushed herself-with help of her ability to levitate- over the woman, landing on the ground behind her, her grin never fading or faltering.
”Herald of Fate...” she cooed, as if thinking on the words. Her ears twitched, and she, took a calm step back. Herald..of fate?!” she pointed with her free hand, laughing. And they called her loony... this made her laugh harder, holding her stomach with the hand that also gripped the chain. She snickered one final time, her hands falling to her sides. She didn’t even know how to pronounce the robot-lady’s actual name- so she decided it would be best to not say it- for now that is. She giggled at the thought on her mind again. She looked up as she noticed a cloud slowly blanketing the sun, she seemed lost in her own thoughts as she stared up.
She was wondering how long it took the woman to notice that it was her fault- she had gotten bored and scared away the crowd. She was still smiling though. Her ear’s twitched and the woman fell on her stomach, floating up in the air as she looked down to the woman, her purple locks falling over her face. “This one is Khit.” she spoke with a giggle as she dangled the golden chain infront of the woman and dropping it. ”Got bored. Not Khits.” she spoke- she wondered how hard it was to break into a bank...that’d be fun. She grinned at the thought, as a devious glint went in her eyes.
Or maybe how hard it would be to get that helmet- if it could her grin would have widened, a toothy grin, her eyes looking at the woman’s helmet, she frowned...nahh it looked like it would hurt her ears, she rubbed her ears gently- imagining the pain, before sticking her tongue out at the helmet- not at the woman, but the woman would think so.

Ildon's frustration did reach the proverbial tipping point when the person evidently started laughing at her title. If there were no connotations behind it, she would have been merely irked at the perceived humor; it was her title however, and one that she'd taken in an attempt to appease the High Priestess. The scowl underneath her helmet deepened as the person proceeded to (dramatically) flip over her, before landing on their feet behind her. Turning around to face them again, Ildon somewhat patiently awaited a break in the laughter before tersely spitting out a rebuttal. "I can see that one of your superpowers is being as rude as humanly possible." Still, she couldn't really do anything to the young woman on the basis of being inconsiderate; perhaps if this were her home planet, she could have reprimanded her for the social faux-pas, but here it was better to ignore it.
The other seemed even more distracted as they continued their lackadaisical levitation routine in the interim, although they did see fit to grace Ildon with concrete answers this time. Given their extremely short recounting of how they came about the trinket, and their unconcerned display of superhuman abilities, it wasn't difficult for Ildon to piece together a decent idea of what had happened.
She was aware of a strong emotion flaring up in this 'Khit' (although the grin told her that much), her empathy pointing out that the emotion in question was that of barely contained mischief. In the process of cocking her head to the side in question, she witnessed Khit massage her ears - combined with the emotion she'd picked up, Ildon found herself (regrettably) jumping to a conclusion that she hoped she'd guessed wrong on. 2 and 2 added together to equal a very uncomfortable 4. Arms crossed tightly across her chest, she kept her focus trained on the teleporter as she spelled out her next point.
"I assume then, 'Khit', that you have an understanding of the concept of ownership. You've committed a crime."
Her tone was the same as it always was, but the words felt strange in her mouth. She usually didn't talk much in situations like this; it was altogether MUCH easier to just let her fists do the talking for her. So far, she had no other reason to believe that this exchange would be anything more than a tiring back-and-forth.
