So, I'm still trying to relax after work before settling in to write a character profile (and reading up on the Titans 'cause it's been too long o.o). In the meantime, might as well introduce myself.
I go by Hikari, and this is the first time I have set foot outside of a Pern roleplay since I left the horse/wolf roleplays of my teenage years. I took a break during college, when I also left behind my old handle of Faile (extra points to those who get the reference, frowny-faces at those who make 'fail' jokes), but got back into the RP game about two years ago.
This is my first attempt at a superhero RP of any sort, so be gentle with me.
But I've been RPing, total, about 7 years, minus the gap, and did quite a bit of individual writing, some fanfiction (especially Harry Potter; won't read the stuff, but I love writing it), quite a few short stories, and many attempts at a novel. Lately, also a finished first draft of one! Huzzah! But editing is taking a while. XD
As a warning, I also am on cast for a Renaissance festival down in scenic Texas, where I live, so I won't be around too much on weekends until this summer. I'm a Japan nut, four and a half years into studying the language, and trying to get my butt back to that side of the planet again after I studied abroad there in 2010. So, I'm also an anime geek, and loved it every time the TT theme song played in Japanese (rare as it might have been XD).
I guess that's enough. I'm good at rambling. ^_^
